I have a question for you re my Shar Pei. She is 9 years
old and has recently moved to Texas with my ex-husband. We both care enormously for her and love her like a child. He took her to the
groomers today for a wash and ear clean etc. She has some long hairs on her underbelly, after being shaved in that area years ago. One request was for the groomer to merely trim those long hairs to match the rest of her coat. Much to our horror, (as told to me over the phone), they shaved / buzzed her all around her body from her head down to her tail. We are concerned that she will be cold and that her coat will never be the same again. From your experience, will her coat - now very short grow back in the same way. Will it be longer or coarser? I am so upset about this and would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you!

We think a blue sharpei adopted us. He came to us in really bad shape, extremely bony and he has no hair at all and has an extremely foul smell. We have been feeding him and he will actually come to us only if our boxer, Tye-Bow is out with us. He will eat sometimes from our hands. He doesn't appear to have had much interaction with humans. He goes to the vet tomorrow, wish us luck with him riding We think he is a blue sharpei - pit mix. His face does not look like your dogs, except the eyes and what huge feet!!!! I really enjoyed your website. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. He seems to be very sweet and wants to be loved but is scared
